Our Babies Eudora & Elena: Sentosa Trip

Dear Eudora,

We made an overnight trip to Sentosa on 21st to 22nd March. Booked a room at Rasa Sentosa so that we can fully enjoy the trip there. In the end, your maternal grandparents, uncle, uncle's girlfriend, aunty & grandaunts all went on the trip with us.

Set off early at 10am to spend the day at sentosa. Wanted to check in early but alas there wasn't any rooms available as it was during the school holiday week and all rooms were fully booked. Had to wait until 3pm before our room was ready. In the meantime, we went to the little tots room for you to play with the toys there before proceeding to have our lunch.

After checking into the hotel room, we quickly changed into our swimsuits and proceed to the pool as the weather was getting dark. This was your 2nd attempt at swimming and this time you seem to enjoy yourself much more then the first time which you seemed scared. Maybe its because mommy went into the pool together with you? but alas daddy didn't bring your kitty float thus you had to make do with playing with your toys at the side of the pool.

Mommy bathed together with you in the big bathtub in our hotel room and you seemed surprised to bath that way. Haahaa... wondering how come your bathtub has upgraded? you keep grabbing the rails at the side of the bathtub to stand which was very dangerous as it was very slippery. After your swim and bath you must have felt very tired as you lazed on the king size bed to watch television.

We proceed for buffet dinner at Silver Shell Cafe where daddy fed you porridge which mommy had brought along. After dinner we explore around the hotel, did not go far as it was drizzling. Went back to our room and by 9.15pm you were in dreamland... you slept in between us on the bed as the playpen the hotel provided was too small for you. As usual you turn & crawl in all directions in your sleep. Only you had a good rest as daddy and mommy kept shifting to accomodate your various positions. You awoke at 5+am earlier than your usual timing thus mommy had to get up to feed you milk and entertain you while daddy continue to laze until 7am. After which we went for an early breakfast.

After breakfast we proceed to the seaside to let you have a feel of the sea breeze, waves and view the ships anchored near the shore. As usual you were excitedly pointing at the ships docked there. Went back to the room and bathed you one last time in the big bathtub before going home. You seem quite sad to be home thou. Mommy can tell that you have truely enjoyed your stay at sentosa. Perhaps we can go again next year.
