Made an impromptu trip to Jurong Bird Park today as we had nothing planned. Coincidently today is Deepavali and although it made no difference to us, there were no discounts for entrance tickets today!!! Arghhh only realised it when we were at the counter buying our tickets. Anyway the tickets costs $18 for each adult and you darling as usual is free entry =)
Daddy wanted to rent the wagon for you to sit in but we decided against it after letting you try. Although you sat there without complaining, daddy was worried if you could sit still in the wagon for the whole trip or its another 3 minutes thingy? Daddy was also considered the wagon quite difficult to pull or push as the wagon wasn't very flexible. In the end, we rented a Mac Claren Volo stroller instead which costs $9. Mommy blamed daddy for wasting the money as we could just have brought your combi stroller from home instead! Daddy as usual is too lazy to bring your stoller out of the house! Haahaa in the end, the stoller ended up being used to transport your diaper bag as you simply refused to sit in it, wasting daddy's $9.
Had a wonderful time touring the bird park which we felt you liked more than the previous zoo trip. But again, maybe you're older now and can enjoy your surroundings better plus you can walk around on your own too? We'll only know when we go to the zoo again next month. You were pretty excited and kept saying 'bird bird' and biding the birds 'bye bye' when we moved along the exhibits.
